« Analysing the process in musical creation » is a four-chapter web documentary written and directed by François-Xavier Féron and Benoît Martin as part of the MuTeC project (Musicology of contemporary composition techniques, 2009-2012) funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and coordinated by Nicolas Donin (Ircam, team Analyse des Pratiques Musicales).
Chapter 4 considers opportunities that would help advance and adjust the research dynamic both in conjunction with the Tracking the Creative Process in Music conference, and more broadly with regards to research in Arts, based upon musical interpreters’ knowledge and practice.
